According to a complaint filed Aug. 5, 2010 in L.A. County Superior Court, the lead plaintiff -- a woman who identifies herself by the initials B.D. -- claims the herbs in Jillian's detox hunger controller can cause ulcers, vomiting, dangerous laxative and diuretic effects, liver damage and death.
